Officers

 

Parade and Drill OFFICER and Leadership Development Training

 

Note: To become an officer you must be recommended for Officer's Training, must submit an application to Officer's Candidate School, must complete 20 hours of Officers Training, must attend graduation and last you must be commissioned.

All officers and leaders will set examples for all others to follow.  As leaders the responsibility of upholding rules and regulations of the unit team and PAD is yours.

 

Any officer not maintaining the officer image can and will be discharged from the PAD program.  If the officer has been in good standing, up until the incident, the officer can either be:

A) Demoted in rank. 

B) Put in retirement with last rank earned.

C) Discharged totally from the PAD program.


Note:  Only Senior Officers such as a Colonel or above can make this decision.

All officers will be commissioned after completing officers training, be recommended to be an officer, and commissioned at a special commissioning ceremony.

All non-commissioned officers can be given rank by their unit commanders, advisors, or sponsors at will. Proper paperwork must be submitted.

All officers and non-commissioned officers are responsible for upholding and abiding by the rules and regulations of PAD's program code.

All officers are entitled to special privileges (with rank comes privileges), which include traveling, representing PAD at different functions.  They will attend special activities and receive tickets and passes to many programs.

All officers are responsible for keeping up with the merit and demerit system, attendance and activity sheets.
