Mentors will be required to do:

• Orientation for women who want to become mentors

• Background Checks

• 20 Hours of mentoring training

• Take several assignments

• Matching the mentor with the mentee

• Face to face meetings

• Mentee assignment

• Meeting with the mentee parents

• Meeting with mentee teacher

• Goal setting with the mentee

• Weekly meeting with the mentee

• Monthly group meeting with all mentors and mentees

• Monthly progress report

• Special Activities

• Years and Evaluation

• Banquet program and awards program

• Extending or reviewing the next year's assignments
